“Lex August is the founder of Nova Diversity. Their mission is to create a world where people and businesses intentionally pursue diversity and inclusion with compassion, understanding, and unconditional acceptance. Lex started Nova Diversity after working over 15 years in multiple levels of retail and over 10 years in a corporate environment. They know how important a foundation of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is to a business and just how much those values are in the workplace today. Lex has worked on multiple DEI teams and has seen first-hand that steps are being made to promote a better future. However, there is a lot more work to be done before our goals as a professional world are reached. Work can’t stop at the bare minimum, it can’t stop at just fulfilling “hiring” numbers, and it definitely can’t stop just because the work is challenging. Redefining the future of a better workplace for all employees is not an easy task, but with Nova Diversity, it can be a manageable one. That’s precisely what Lex August is here for.
